We Handle It All For You
RMT Construction has a large clientele of overseas clients and we look after their homes for them.
We work together with the rental agent and ensure that all your maintenance and repair works are kept up to date.
Due to clients being so far away we usually include a very detailed report to our clients showing them photos/videos and even recommendations of various things of their properties.
Our clients have told us it gives them such peace of mind being able to see what exactly is happening and the after photos where they can see what exactly was done.
Painting especially outside walls, fascias/barge boards, and boundary walls are a great idea as you have longer days and your paint is guaranteed to dry within these times.
Varnishing of exterior wooden items such as wooden decks, windows, and doors is also something to look into during the Summer months.
Waterproofing is also something to check in this time before rain starts to set in.
Cleaning gutters are a great idea in these months, most of the leaves have fallen in Autumn so your gutters are nice and full of leafy debris. The idea is to get your gutters maintained and clean before the rainy season kicks in. You want water to stay away from your property to protect your foundations. Water hanging around your house for long periods will cost you a lot of money in the long run so make sure your gutters are clean and steer the water away from your property.
Autumn is a great time for inside projects and renovations. Maybe you want to give your bathroom or kitchen a makeover?
These are also the months to make sure your trees are trimmed and kept away from your house. We have seen many homes leaving their trees to grow over their roofs and the results are definitely not something that anyone would want. It creates a lovely pathway for mice and rats to gain access to your roof and then there is the dampness inside of your house which can usually be seen on the ceiling. Trimming trees are definitely a better choice than having to call the exterminator.
